Belize the Final Day

We spent our last day in Belize relaxing by the pool after previous days being busy with activities. The evening came to an end by taking a water taxi to the Matachica Hotel for our last dinner of good food and vacation cocktails (our favorite is known locally as the "Panty Ripper" which includes coconut rum and pineapple juice, it just taste like the beach).

All in all, we had an AMAZING time and would recommend Belize to anyone. However, it was very tiring! Traveling with a one and two year old is a lot of work needless to say. Alexander also decided 4am was the appropriate time to wake during the week (even though it should have been the other way around with the time change). Luckily, Jason and I have a weekend away to Santa Barbara planned for our five year anniversary this summer and can look forward to sleeping in, wine and laziness then. For now, we have another adventure under our belts and always needed playtime logged with a very hardworking Dad.
