Aiden is turning into such a big kid. He had his first play date with adorable two year old Zubi. Mommy had a doctor's appointment so he got dropped off at my friend Melissa's house. She said he did well and he was pretty dang happy playing with Zubi when I got back. I also joined a yoga studio with a kids center. Since I stay home with him he has never been left in any sort of daycare situation but the girls who watch him are great. Its fabulous for both of us!
This is my stink face, Daddy can do it too!!
Aiden does not have much hair and it is hard to see because he is so blond but he was growing a bit of shag. While he did not have enough growth for a visit to the kiddie salon it was time for a little trim above the ears. Daddy took to the job and as you can see it was not easy!! Aiden thought the ordeal was funny and could not stop trying to look at the scissors. Needless to say it was not exactly the most professional cut but did the trick!
Aiden's vocabulary is slowing growing! Although he is quite good at letting us know what he wants by gesturing and pulling us in the direction he wants so he uses speech sparingly. World List:
- Dada (uses this one all the time)
- Mama (only used when he is whining)
- Doggy (first word!)
- Hi (he just figured out have to wave too)
- Santa (I know, its a big one! We have a talking Santa application on our Droid that he loves and says Santa the best he can when we bring it up)
- Cheese (his favorite snack)
*you may have to be a parent to actually catch onto what Aiden is actually saying, the words are still a bit funny :)
We took a fun family trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific! I didn't know if Aiden would be too young to enjoy, but he loved pressing his face up against the glass and splashing around in the touch pool.
