ONE YEAR!!!

Aiden turns one on Friday!! I cannot believe how fast the year has gone. Being a new parent was not easy (mostly due to our struggle with sleep) but it has been one of the most magical experiences. We are so blessed to have Aiden. He has become the light of our life and I cannot imagine the world without him. We love you Aiden!!

The end of September we went to Minnesota for my Mom's birthday, Sarah's engagement party and my 10 year high school reunion - which also means I have been living in Los Angeles for 10 years! Again, where has the time gone?! The reunion was fun and it was great to catch up with old friends.

While in Minnesota we also a playdate with one of my best friends from high school, Jenna, and her son Wynn. As Jenna put it; we pretty much have shared all of our big milestone together. We were babtized, confirmed, and graduted high school at the same time. We were engaged within weeks and married within a month of eachother. So it only makes sense that we both have blue eyed, blonde baby boys three and a half months apart, Aiden being older. Wynn is a cutie and it was fun to watch them play. We can't wait to get together again.

Other Fun Facts:
- Aiden is quite the traveler and at the age of one has been on 12 plane rides!
- If Aiden wants you to look at something he will point and then physically move your chin to show you the right direction. It is quite funny.
- He recently discovered the concept of putting things inside of other things to see how they fit. He likes to put his snacks in cups, toys in boxes and etc. Unfortunately he also has put stuff in the toilet.
- Aiden is definitely a Daddy's boy. He stands at the front door and cries as Jason leaves for work in the morning and runs to it at night when he comes home. Jason tries to make me feel better by saying its only because he is a novelty, but I can see they have a special bond.
