Aiden is still not crawling. He simply hates being on his tummy. Luckily he LOVES puffs and can be coaxed into tummy time with a yummy treat. He is however a step closer to walking. During our trip to Turks and Caicos he learned to pull himself up from the sitting to standing position. He is still a bit wobbly and needs help but is quite mobile in his own way.
Grandma and Grandpa came to visit in early June. We had lots of fun at the beach, relaxing and taking walks. One night Aiden joined us at the table for cocktail hour and we discovered he loves limes! It does not sound tasty to me (unless is my vodka tonic) but it sure did keep his happy and busy!
The past few weeks we have been introducing the sippy cup. To Aiden its just a toy to shake and chew on, what he is really interested in a cup, he wants the real deal! He is actually pretty good at it too! OK, so half the water ends up on him but hes got the concept down. Aiden is also interested in the real deal when it comes to food. He wants to eat whatever we are eating and can chew up a small piece of chicken or pasta with no problem. Unfortunately thanks to Dad he has also had cookies, cinnamon rolls and french fries. I have to watch those two.
