A Shower for Baby Charlotte

My little sister Sarah is due with baby girl, Charlotte this December. To spoil Mommy and Baby we hosted a shower for her this weekend and I flew in to surprise her. The shower was beautiful with delicious food, games and a headband making station. All of the hostesses, myself, Stephanie and Charlotte's Grandmas had something special to contribute. Thank you to everyone who helped and attended, it made for a lovely afternoon!

 

 

The evening I arrived to Minnesota we had a family dinner with just the original Nauman five. No children, no husbands. It has been seven years since we have all been alone together!

On a side note, this is the first time I have left all three of my boys by themselves for more then a few hours. It has been wonderful to see my family alone and especially to play with my nephew, Calvin, one and one without the distraction of my own children. It sounds like Jason is having a great time with "boys weekend". Although the weekend had an interesting start on Friday afternoon when Aiden locked the baby sitter in his room! She was quite clever and used a lamp cord to take the door off its hinges and escape. Lets hope she will still want to come back!
