Christmas in Minnesota

We made our annual Christmas visit to Minnesota and had a blast seeing lots of family and friends. Alexander played with cousin Calvin. Aiden went sledding with Auntie Sarah and threw snow balls with Auntie Stephy. We all got a kick out of playing Rock Band in the home theater with Grandpa. Both kids went nuts for the animals which we don't have at home... for now.

The highlight of the trip (besides seeing my family of course!) was that my parents sent Jason and I away to a hotel  - ALONE - for 24 hours! We saw a movie, went to a long dinner with no interruptions and got to sleep in!!! It was the first time we had been away together that long or over night from the kids. It felt a little strange at first but was fabulous. Thanks Mom and Dad!

The kids traveled well. Traveling is nothing new to them, we are pretty pro at this point. But we got a special treat this trip when the boys were anxiously looking out the window to the plane in the terminal waving to the captains, who were waving back. Upon entering the plane they invited us to the cockpit. Aiden was overwhelmingly wide-eyed and could not stop looking at all the buttons. We had one happy boy. Fly Delta :)
